Series

Series (Television Series):

What is a Television Series?
- A TV Series consists of spanning multiple episodes. These episodes are then grouped together into seasons. There are several series that are drama related. A couple of examples would be Downtown Abbey and Doctor Who.
- A briefer description would be that a Television series is a set of programmes which are related, each programme seems to be self-contained but is dedicated to something different within the subject.
 Each episode has a beginning, middle and an end and the story of an episode does not usually carry over to the next.

A huge growing drama at the moment would have to be Game of Thrones. It's been out for a while now and soon to be releasing Season 7 later on in the year of 2017. 






An example of another series would be a National Geographic or Discovery Channel programmes dealing with the natural world. For example; a discovery channel series on sharks, spanning an entire week, all the programmes form part of a series about sharks.







American Dad:                                       Family Guy:

Many series revolve around Comedy for example Family Guy and American Dad are famous for their jokes and puns.
